El año pasado, las cantantes que representaron a Israel fueron Noa y Mira Awad con "There Must Be Another Way" en Eurovision 2009.
En Diciembre del año pasado, el IBA (Israel Broadcasting Authority), seleccionó internamente a Harel Skaat para representar a Israel en el Festival Eurovision del 2010.
Hubo una competencia para ver cuál de cuatro canciones sería la ganadora.
Finalmente ganó la canción Milim (Hebreo: מילים), que va a ser interpretada por Harel Skaat.
